Day 1
8:40 AM – 9:00 AM: Meet at Farm Hotel Magic Paradise, Lago Agrio.
9:00 AM: Private transport to Cuyabeno Reserve (2-hour journey).
11:00 AM: Arrival at Cuyabeno Reserve.Briefing at the environmental ministry’s interpretation center. Quick check-in at their offices.
11:30 AM: Canoe journey down the Cuyabeno River. Spot lush flora, fauna, monkeys, birds, and possibly anacondas.
1:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Lunch at Piranha Ecolodge. Insight about accommodations and time for relaxation.
4:45 PM: Second expedition to La Hormiga River and Laguna Grande. Chance to spot pink dolphins and witness a breathtaking sunset. Refreshing swim in Laguna Grande.
6:30 PM: Nocturnal trek.
Explore insects, amphibians, reptiles, and mammals. Search for black caimans and tree boas along the Cuyabeno River.
8:00 PM: Dinner and welcome cocktail at the ecolodge. Relax in a hammock or enjoy a drink at the bar.
Day 2
6:00 AM: Expedition to the observation tower. Search for birds, monkeys, sloths, and spot vibrant macaws.
7:30 AM: Breakfast at the ecolodge.
8:30 AM: Paddle and trek through the rainforest (45 minutes). Paddle through serene waters, with a chance to spot river otters. Trek into the Amazon, learning about its ecology, flora, and fauna.
12:30 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch at Piranha Ecolodge. Time to relax in hammocks or retreat to your room.
3:30 PM: Reflection at the interpretation center. Learn about the indigenous communities of Cuyabeno.
5:00 PM: Motorboat exploration of Caiman Cocha Lagoon. Wildlife spotting and enjoy a stunning sunset at the lagoon.
8:00 PM: Dinner at the ecolodge.

Day 3
8:00 AM: Hearty breakfast at the ecolodge.
9:00 AM: Depart downstream to the Siona Community of Puerto Bolívar. Guided tour of a yucca plantation and hands-on experience preparing traditional casabe (yucca flatbread).
12:00 PM: Communal lunch in the Siona village.Taste local flavors and enjoy village life.
1:00 PM: Meet one of the last Siona shamans. Participate in an energy cleansing ritual and learn about Ayahuasca.Search for snakes and wildlife, ending with a visit to El Ceibo, one of Ecuador’s largest trees.
5:30 PM: Paddle upstream, searching for birds, monkeys, and sloths. Enjoy the serenity of the river and rainforest canopy.
8:00 PM: Farewell dinner and cocktail at the ecolodge.

Day 4
8:00 AM: Start the day with a vibrant breakfast at the ecolodge.
9:30 AM: Full-day paddle expedition to Cananbueno Lagoon. Explore this serene, protected lagoon known for giant caimans and playful giant otters (3-hour paddle).
1:00 PM: Jungle box lunch and relaxation in hammocks. Enjoy the serene ambiance and prepare for a trek through the forest.
Additional trek to discover the forest’s hidden flora and fauna.
5:00 PM: Chocolate-making experience at the interpretation center. Learn the art of chocolate making using local fruits.
6:30 PM: Nocturnal walk around the ecolodge. Observe insects, amphibians, and the nocturnal creatures of the Amazon.
8:00 PM: Farewell dinner and cocktail at the ecolodge. Reflect on the adventure, celebrate unforgettable memories, and toast to the Amazon experience.
Day 5
5:30 AM: Early morning voyage to Laguna Grande. Witness a breathtaking sunrise and search for dolphins and other wildlife.
8:00 AM: Breakfast at the hotel.
Enjoy a tranquil meal before departure.
9:30 AM: Motorboat journey to Cuyabeno Bridge. Spot wildlife along the riverbanks during the ride.
Arrival at Cuyabeno Bridge: Private bus to Magic Paradise.
Lunch at Magic Paradise: A final meal to conclude the adventure.
